【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesperformancelevelsandtestmethodsforthefollowingcharacteristicsofslidefastenersmadefrominterlockingcomponentsmountedontextiletapes:strengthsofpullerattachment,closed-end,topstop,open-endfastenerbox,reciprocatingmechanism,closedfastenerwhenextendedlaterally,open-endattachmentwhenextendedlaterally,sliderlock,andopen-endfastenersinglestringersliderretention.NOTEThetestsspecifiedinAnnexesBtoJhavebeenspecificallydevisedtopermittheirdirectapplicationtofinishedfastenerswithaviewtogivingtheuserreasonableassurancethatafastenerconformingtotherequirementsofthisBritishStandardcansatisfactorilyfulfilitsintendedpurpose.AnnexKgivesinformationaboutsamplingproceduresforbulkquantitiesoffasteners.Inaddition,performancelevelsarealsospecifiedforcolourfastnesstowashing,drycleaningandwater,andfordimensionalstabilitytowashinganddrycleaning.ThisBritishStandardisapplicabletoslidefastenersforgeneraluseandisnotapplicabletoslidefastenersforaeronauticalorotherspecialistpurposes(slidefastenersforaeronauticalpurposesarecoveredbyBS3F121).
