【摘要】:Thisproceduredefinesatestmethodforcomparingtherelativeresistanceofpipelinecoatingstoabrasion.Abrasionresistancemaybeusedtospecifyoptimumcoatingthicknessofcandidatematerialsbothindevelopmentandresearchworktostudynewcoatingsystemsormethodsandinqualitycontrol.1.1Thistestmethodofacceleratedtestisaprocedurefordeterminingtherelativeresistanceofsteelpipelinecoatingstoabrasionbyaslurryofcoarseabrasiveandwater.Themethodisintendedtoapplytothetestingofalltypesofelectricalinsulatingpipelinecoatingsandtapes,includingthermoplastics,thermoset,andbituminousmaterials.1.2Pipelinecoatingsarenotnormallysubjectedtothetypeofabrasionhereinspecified.1.3Metallicprotectivecoatingssuchaszincmaybecomparedvisually,butdonotmeettheelectricalrequirementsofthistestmethod.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitstothreesignificantdecimalsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
