【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverportableluminaires(portableelectriclamps)andsubassemblieswhoseprimaryfunctionistaskorambientillumination.Theseproductsareprovidedwithaflexiblecordandanattachmentplugforconnectiontoanominal120-volt,15-or20-amperebranchcircuit,andintendedforuseinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.1.2Theserequirementsalsocoverdedicatedportableluminairesthatemployaconnectorotherthananattachmentplugthatisintendedtoconnecttoacompatibleconnectorassemblythatisforconnectiontoanominal120-volt,15-or20-amperebranchcircuit,andintendedforuseinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.1.3Theserequirementsalsocoverportableluminairesthatareintendedforuseonstandardpowersystemsotherthananominal120-volt,15-or20-amperes.1.4TheserequirementsdonotcoverChristmastreeanddecorativelightingoutfits,electriccandlesandcandelabraswithoutlampshades,orportableluminaireswithaseasonaldecorationandalampshadeofotherthantheopentopandbottomconstruction,whichareallcoveredbytheStandardforSeasonalandHolidayDecorativeProducts,UL588.1.5Theserequirementsdonotcoverdirectplug-innightlights,sunandheatlamps,aquariumlamps,medicalanddentallights,signsandcommercialadvertisingdisplays,photographiclamps,germicidallamps,orportableluminairesformarineuseorforuseinhazardouslocationsasdefinedintheNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.1.6DeletedFebruary18,20041.7Theserequirementsdonotcoverportabledecorativeilluminatedfurnishingswhoseprimaryfunctionisnottaskorambientlighting,thatarecoveredbytheStandardforHouseholdandCommercialFurnishings,UL962.
